Specialties: Dr. Afar earned his DDS and Master of Science in Oral Biology from UCLA School of Dentistry and received the California State Fellowship, Hortense Fishbaugh’s Fellowship and a coveted NIH Dentist-Scientist Fellowship that enabled him to continue his studies in the fields for periodontology and oral implantology. He obtained his specialty degree from the University of Washington in Seattle. Established in 1988. Our practice started with a dream of bringing multiple dental specialties together under one roof. Dr. Afar began practicing dentistry with the goal of bringing joy to people by making them feel confident about their smile. Dr. Afar has worked on thousands of patients over the course of his 30 year dental career.
