A 1975 graduate of St. Louis High School, Dr. Tanaka attended USC where he earned a B.S. degree in Biology & graduated from the USC Dental School in 1983. He obtained licenses in both California & Hawaii that same year.
In April of 1999, Dr. Tanaka took his dental practice to a higher level & committed himself to becoming one of the top 5% of dentists in the nation to have completed the Masters Aesthetic Program, Full Mouth Rehabilitation, and the Practical Occlusion Course at the Las Vegas Institute.The institute leads the world of post graduates in the advance studies of Cosmetic & Advanced Dentistry.
In November of 07′, Dr. Tanaka became one of the very few dentists in Hawaii to use the CEREC technology. Computerized dentistry is a tremendous advancement in modern dentistry. “The one appointment crown” is now a standard in the office.CEREC restorations are computer generated, and therefore precise & enables us to save as much of your natural tooth structure as possible.
