Specialties: We specialize in providing excellent pediatric dental services in a fun and comfortable environment. Dr. Austin C. Powell is a board certified pediatric specialist. Our services include low radiation digital x-rays, tooth covered fillings, sedation dentistry, nitrous oxide, and general anesthesia at Children’s Hospital. We’re also one of the few pediatric dentists in Birmingham who are open on Fridays! Established in 2012. Dr Powell earned his DMD from the UAB School of Dentistry, and then went on to complete his residency in Pediatric Dentistry from Northwestern University in Chicago. After his residency, he practiced in pediatric dental offices in the Birmingham area for three years, and then opened Powell Pediatric Dentistry in December of 2012. His goal is to provide excellent dentistry to the children of Homewood and surrounding Birmingham, Alabama.
