Specialties: Dr. Mathai is a recent and enthusiastic transplant to the Bay Area. Originally from Leesville, LA, she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania after attending Tulane University in New Orleans for her undergraduate studies. Following dental school, she lived in Boston, MA training at the Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, where she advanced her skills in all facets of general dentistry through a rigorous residency program. She has spent the past five years of education focusing on learning advanced prosthodontic and surgical techniques, as well as gaining experience in providing high quality dentistry for the entire family. As a new addition to the best coast, she is excited and honored to bring her skill set and passion for dentistry to the West Portal Dental Care practice. Established in 2008.
